What’s New in the 2025 Toyota Crown?

The 2025 Toyota Crown is the third vehicle of its kind, and there are many new features you’ll note in this iteration. One of the most significant additions is the choice to include the Nightshade trim level - a new high-level selection for the Toyota Crown. This trim provides two colors, Storm Cloud and Black, which have 21-inch wheels and a black leather interior.

Other new features in this version of the vehicle include various updates throughout trim levels that are standard. You’ll find a heated steering wheel and ventilated and heated front seats automatically. If you go with the more expensive Platinum model, you’ll find it now has a heads-up display in the system.

How Much Will It Cost?

There are four trim levels for the 2025 Toyota Crown and four different price points associated with them. The Toyota Crown XLE starts at $42,535, the Toyota Crown Limited at $47,045, the Toyota Crown Nightshade at $49,860, and the Toyota Crown Platinum at $56,085.

Although it’s the most expensive, it seems the 2025 Toyota Crown Platinum offers the best value. This vehicle comes with the Hybrid Max powertrain, and it’s the only trim level with a hybrid option. You also get far more features in this luxury trim, making it worth your money over the other three choices.

How Does the Performance Look?

When checking out the 2025 Toyota Crown, performance is vital to note - especially in a mid-size luxury vehicle selection. Every version gets a hybrid powertrain, but you’ll only get Hybrid Max if you fork over the money for the Platinum trim. This vehicle offers a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and 340 horsepower with a rear axle electric motor.

If you can’t afford the highest trim level of the vehicle, go with the other trims. These come with 2.5-liter four-cylinder engines and provide a hybrid system with 236 horsepower. It even uses three electric motors to get to this point. On every trim you invest in, you will find all-wheel drive as a standard selection.

The suspension of the vehicle offers a very smooth ride experience. It won’t corner very well, but there are adaptive dampers that exist on the highest selections for better control. With the base powertrain, the Crown can go from 0 to 60 MPH in 7.2 seconds. If you go with the Platinum trim, you can do the same in 5.1 seconds.

WHERE ARE TOYOTAS MADE?

Toyota is the largest vehicle manufacturer in the world. Naturally, that size and the many different vehicles they offer can make it hard to answer a simple question: where are Toyotas made

What’s the Exterior Like?

The Toyota Crown is a unique-looking vehicle that some have been known to love and others dislike. The 2025 version of the car is no different. Sleek lines are curving around the front and the back to create a profile that’s very low to the ground. It also brings one-of-a-kind LED lines to life for an eye-catching design.

There’s also an appealing fixed glass roof, offering a modern appearance and ample light inside the car while you’re behind the wheel. The front is bold and will help the 2025 Toyota Crown stand out as a one-of-a-kind selection. It’s a very modern car, and that’s part of what’s garnered such a large audience over the years.

Finally, there are ample colors to choose from to make your 2025 Toyota Crown feel like yours. Popular selections include black, bronze age, storm cloud, heavy metal, supersonic red, and oxygen white. Each offers a different ambience and experience for the driver.

What’s the Interior Like?

The interior is one of the best aspects of the 2025 Toyota Crown, maintaining a premium status amidst its competition. The seating height for those inside is closer to a compact SUV, which makes it much more comfortable than the majority of the competition. You don’t have to feel like you’re sinking into your seat with the arrangement on the 2025 Toyota Crown.

If you land on any trim version of the 2025 Toyota Crown, you’ll find ample standard features inside the car. Every trim comes with standard dual-zone climate control, eight-way heated power-adjustable front seats, and ambient lighting all over the interior. The higher trims have a panoramic sunroof, ventilation in the front seats, and leather upholstery.

WHY ARE TOYOTAS SO RELIABLE?

Why are Toyotas so reliable? That’s a question many people ask, especially those looking for a car that won’t let them down.

The inside of the 2025 Toyota Crown feels like a luxurious experience. The higher the trim, the more features you’ll find.

Is the 2025 Toyota Crown Worth the Wait?

We’ve talked about ample items surrounding the 2025 Toyota Crown, from the price point to the appearance of the exterior. Now, there’s one final question - should you bother waiting for the 2025 Toyota Crown or go with a different selection?

Overall, we think the 2025 Toyota Crown is worth the wait. While the outside of the machine won’t work for all, the hybrid powertrains and ample interior features will make every moment behind the wheel a luxury. If you want the Crown for yourself, we recommend landing on the highest Platinum trim to make the most of your money.
