What’s New in the 2026 Honda Ridgeline?

Most anticipate the 2026 Honda Ridgeline will be the start of a new generation, which means most details could be new. Some assume if the dash and infotainment system aren’t upgraded, it wouldn’t make sense for Honda to push the car forward. It must receive significant upgrades if it wants to continue.

Here are a few areas where we could see upgrades in the 2026 Honda Ridgeline:

  • Infotainment system upgrade
  • Dash improvement
  • Improved grille
  • Updated interior

Honda should take the vehicle in a new direction.

We have yet to see what comes with the 2026 Honda Ridgeline since Honda hasn’t officially announced anything yet. Many assume it will be similar in some ways to the Honda Passport, but we’ll see what the truth brings. Hopefully, the 2026 Honda Ridgeline will be announced before the end of the year.

2026 Honda Ridgeline Pricing: How Much Will It Cost?

Since there is no official information about the 2026 Honda Ridgeline, we don’t know what it will cost. However, we can look at the price point for the 2025 Honda Ridgeline and assume the 2026 price point will be slightly higher, which is the trend for new vehicle years of any machine.

According to caranddriver.com, here is the price point for various trims of the 2025 Honda Ridgeline:

  • Honda Ridgeline Sport: $41,545
  • Honda Ridgeline RTL: $44,375
  • Honda Ridgeline TrailSport: $46,775
  • Honda Ridgeline Black Edition: $48,145

The Honda Ridgeline is a slightly higher-priced truck selection.

It’s safe to assume every trim of the Honda Ridgeline will be at least a few hundred or thousand dollars more. We hope there will be new trim levels with the 2026 iteration or at least some upgrades to the current trim offerings to make them more enticing for the average investor.

How Does the Performance Look?

We hope there will be a performance improvement for the Honda Ridgeline, as is the trend for most vehicles on the market. For now, we’ll assume the 2026 Honda Ridgeline will have most of the same performance details as the 2025 iteration. It’s an untraditional pickup truck, which is part of why so many people love it.

Here is the current power setup for the Honda Ridgeline:

  • 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6
  • 262 pound-feet of torque
  • Nine-speed automatic and standard all-wheel-drive
  • 0-60 mph in 6 seconds

It’s an impressive truck selection.

Drivers report previous versions of the Ridgeline to be smooth, feeling more like a car than a truck. We hope to see that experience continued in the 2026 Honda Ridgeline, along with the electronically assisted steering and the minimal body leaning around sharper turns. The powerful performance of driving like a truck is an excellent win.

HONDA RIDGELINE PROS & CONS

Are you seriously considering an investment in a used or new Honda Ridgeline? If so, it’s critical to look at the Honda Ridgeline pros and cons.

What’s Safety Like?

Safety is especially necessary in a truck where work will be done. Honda does well at including safety features in their design, and we know the 2026 Honda Ridgeline will be no different. Previous versions of the Honda Ridgeline have earned themselves five stars from the NHTSA - an excellent feat we hope to see continued.

Possible safety features in the 2026 Honda Ridgeline include the following:

  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking
  • Lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist

These work together to keep any driver as safe as possible.

Honda does an excellent job keeping many of the best driver assistance features standard. We think that will continue into the 2026 version, and we hope there will be even more standard options for a more complete safety experience while getting work done behind the wheel of the 2026 Ridgeline.

What’s the Interior Like?

Finally, the interior. Trucks aren’t known for their fancy interiors, but the Ridgeline is different. We don’t know anything yet about the inside of the 2026 version, but we can again look at the previous iteration to see some of the expectations for the newest version of the Ridgeline.

Previous interior details included the following:

  • Ample rear room seats
  • Weather-tite in-bed container
  • Rear folding 6040 seats

There is more room in the back for passengers than all other competitors.

There are also a few technology features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 9.0-inch infotainment screen, and wireless charging. Unfortunately, the infotainment is where the Ridgeline struggles most. We’d like to see more integrated into the system for the 2026 Honda Ridgeline to succeed.

Is the 2026 Honda Ridgeline Worth Waiting For?

While there is much excitement for the 2026 Honda Ridgeline, we don’t know enough about it to determine if it’s worth waiting for. Honda must improve the infotainment and crank out more updates for the Ridgeline to compete with modern vehicles. If they do that, the 2026 Honda Ridgeline will be well worth waiting for.

We hope these details are beneficial, whether you’re planning for the future or curious about what upcoming cars are like. The Honda Ridgeline is a unique competitor, and we anticipate it will make improvements if it wants to remain relevant.
