Atlanta is home to a vibrant automotive scene that offers something new each and every year! Small wonder the photographers here are so talented! It was hard choosing the eight best Atlanta car photographers from such a rich collection of creatives, but we managed to do so. Take a look at their work and see if any of them spark interest in a collaboration!

1. Jeremiah Ndirangu

Jeremiah Ndirangu has found cars fascinating for his entire life. And when he picked up a camera for the first time as a teenager, it was only natural that he’d turn to car photography. From car shows to NASCAR, his interest in vehicles is boundless!

Jeremiah has a strong preference for panning and roller shots in his car photography. Rather than editing in motion, he prefers capturing it live, adding a dynamic perspective to his automotive images. His focus on this style helps him stand apart from other creatives and makes him THE Atlanta car photographer you call for racing events!

2. arw.drae

Arw.drae hasn’t posted their true name, but we can feel for them through their car photography, which has an evocative feel. The emotions stirred in viewers range from the power and grace of a still vehicle waiting to hit the road to the culture that classic cars bring back to life when viewed through a nostalgic lens.

We also love the diversity in stylings that arw.drae uses to present their vehicles. From capable retouching to more naturalistic presentations, they weave color and lighting in ways that best match what each collaborative partner hopes to express. However, awr.drae’s own personal style shines forth in the form of backgrounds that highlight the subject and use leading lines, texture, and color to help it stand out in a car portrait manner!

3. Evan Oswald

Atlanta car photographer Evan Oswald has found cars to be a huge source of interest and inspiration his entire life! From luxury and classic to off-road vehicles, he’s constantly finding new and exciting ways to present cars in flattering and engaging ways.

We notice that his use of the scenery and roads offer natural leading lines that help guide the viewer’s eye across the frame, which Evan brilliantly uses in his compositions. We also love his more faintly toned down color grade, which stands in stark contrast to the unnaturally rich colors that other automotive photographers often use. Coupled with his preference for more tightly cropped compositions, his work has a recognizable style that we can’t wait to see further develop!

4. Ashton Staniszewski

Ashton Staniszewski credits his lifelong love of photography to a film Pentax he was given as a child. His artistic interests carried him into an apprenticeship, where he felt he didn’t learn nearly as much as he could have. So he turned to teaching himself, where his creativity started to explode!

As a photographer with especially diverse interests, Ashton also photographs products, food, architecture, and portrait images for Atlanta clients. But his car photography is what really caught our attention! Ashton’s eye for dramatic lighting, deep shadow, and lifestyle elements lets him weave complete stories and suggestive emotions into a single frame. Our appreciation of the car subject goes beyond the mere beauty of the vehicle and becomes a narrative that’s being told for our enjoyment.

5. Benjamin Hines

Benjamin Hines is a photography, technology, and car lover whose automotive images are well worth exploring further! We enjoy his appreciation for color and contrast, evident in his monochrome and well-matched color images. He highlights chrome, reflections, and the other ways light plays within the frame to stand out as a feature rather than an aside. Benjamin is also a fan of bringing drones into his automotive shoots, providing aerial perspectives that heighten our appreciation for vehicles and unseen compositions!

6. Jason Hansen

Jason Hansen of Ghostly Media is an Atlanta car photographer and native of the area who is fairly new to professional photography. Yet looking at his images, there’s no sign of this whatsoever! His fusion of modeling, lifestyle, and automotive photography is captivating and worthy of any publication!

Jason is a master of presenting form in most flattering ways possible, both in his models and his vehicles. He will use light and shadow alike to highlight curves, reflections, and textures as well as use well-controlled supplementary light to bring out skin tones and paint jobs.

Geoff Dennis’s style is one of contrasts. Bright highlights to deep shadow. Punchy colors to black and white. And more desaturated images that help form and textures carry more weight within the frame. His attention to how every visual element carries weight and how to shift that weight around to draw the viewer’s eye is truly masterful!

Geoff is also a talented retoucher whose ability to add motion, subtract flaws, and emphasize already interesting aspects of a vehicle is second to none! And his taste in shooting environments, from downtown Atlanta to countryside drives, adds lifestyle elements and stories that help us feel what it’s like to take these cars for a spin! Geoff can create entire narratives within just a single frame, making him one of the best Atlanta car photographers we’ve ever seen!

NEARLY-NEW CARS AT SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS

A new car loses value the second you drive it off the lot. Luckily, many used models sport the same great features as their new counterparts. Here’s where you can find nearly-new cars at significant discounts off MSRP.

8. Owen B.

Cars and portraits are what Owen B. focuses his camera on! Cars, both in motion and ready to hit the road, are what fills his portfolio, though, telling viewers that the automotive world is something truly interesting to him.

Owen’s compositions often feature hero angles that best portray the styling and grace of vehicles. He then supplements these with detail-oriented shots at creative angles, filling the frame with rich color, chrome, and logos that drive the point home. His mastery of car portraits is impressive, as is his way of using light, shadow, lines, and background objects to add additional emphasis to his subjects!
