As far as budget-friendly compact cars go, the Ford Fiesta is one of the best options you can find. And even though Ford transitioned away from small cars, only making crossovers, SUVs, or pickups (aside from the Mustang), you can still find plenty of Fiestas with low mileage on them, or if you’re really lucky you might even stumble across a new one.

You can find great value on any model year of Ford Fiesta, but stick with us if you want to find out which one is right for you

How Much Are You Saving Buying a Used Ford Fiesta Vs. New?

Very few changes were made from the 2015 model to the 2019 model, meaning this decision comes down to the pricing and the mileage. For our money, the best value is the 2017 Ford Fiesta. Its mileage is still very low, even lower than the average 2018 listing, while the average price sits over $2,000 lower.

Meanwhile, it has 8,000 fewer miles on average than the 2016, while only adding around $500 to the average list price. You really can’t go wrong with any model of Ford Fiesta from 2015 and later, but the 2017 offers the best value.
